I have a soft spot for the United Guitar Corporation of New Jersey instruments. This one sat around the shop for a bit so I decided to make a rubber bridge, install a vintage Harmony pickup (same internals as center pole MIJ goldfoil pickups) along with a volume control and a ground wire. Someone had changed the tuners to an import style key prior to my ownership.
Please note there is a repair to the top veneer which feels smooth but is slightly visible.
